May 2010 - Environmental Flooring

Installation time and costs are down, thanks to the unique eleEase floating floor system from Eletile. And it’s not just the immediate benefits proving popular for this product it’s the environmental benefits further down the line too.

As Mark Taylor of Eletile explains: “Because eleEase is a floating floor system and there for needs no adhesives or screeds, the product is 100% fully recyclable. Around ten years after the product is laid, we can uplift it, granulate it and bag it up to ship in a container over to China where it can be put straight back into the process again to produce new products.

“Our LVT is the only product on the market that is 100% recyclable. Other luxury vinyl products are glued down into place and are therefore contaminated and unfit for recycling purposes.”

The eleEase range includes Finesse, a collection of 48” registered emboss planks; At Home, a collection for the domestic market in ten wood ranges; and six slate coloured tile options (12” and 36” sizes) which were launched in April . These are in addition to the eleEase Commercial range available in eight woods and three tiles; and the eleEase Signature collection in five woods.

April 2010 - A Perfect Fit

Eletile, the company behind the revolutionary floating vinyl plank system eleEase, has launched an ‘academy’ course for fitters.

Said Mark Taylor of Eletile: “We started the courses in February so we can demonstrate the full benefits to fitters and show them how simple eleEase is to lay. It has so many benefits, such as
time reduction, being a clean method of installation, and needing no sub floor preparation. The courses have attracted a tremendous amount of interest.”

Phil Sinclair - an approved installer with 40 years in the trade, 20 of which were exclusively in the LVT market – is running the courses for Eletile.

He said: “We’ve run a number of courses so far this year and all the fitters have found it an easy product to get to grips with. The key is just learning how to handle the product and use the two special accessories unique to eleEase – the transitions strip and installation tape.”

The day-long course involves a PowerPoint presentation, practical demonstration then an opportunity for the fitters to try out the skills they have learnt until they feel confident handling
the product. On completion of the course, a certificate plus van and shop stickers are awarded
to all participants.

Courses are held at the Eletile headquarters at View Logistics, Hartlepool, for a maximum of six people. For larger groups, classes can be taught at alternative locations. Prices start at £140 for a group member, £150 for an Eletile stand holder and £200 for an independent. For more information or to book onto the course please contact head office on 01429 892540.
